If L&D is to predictably and reliably affect performance (the way the work is done) then L&D must pivot from a 'learning-orientation' to 'performance-orientation'. This means seeing our value beyond just 'providing learning' - in the form of programs and content - towards making a planned impact on 'performance' This is much easier than it seems and it's much more achievable than turning 'learning' into 'performance'. In this session, David James will be exploring all this in the context of new technologies, such as Generative AI.
