VRAI Learning at Learning Technologies France 2027: hands-on practice with AI avatars and virtual reality
VRAI Learning brings conversational AI avatars and immersive training to Learning Technologies France 2027
On 20–21 January 2027, VRAI Learning will welcome learning and development professionals to Paris to explore a practical approach to training: learning through conversation, experimentation and immersive simulation.
Handling a difficult conversation, responding to an unhappy customer or speaking a foreign language takes practice. Learners need opportunities to try different approaches, make mistakes and start again.
French EdTech company VRAI Learning designs conversational AI avatars and bespoke VR/XR experiences to create these opportunities. Used independently or together, its solutions support training scenarios shaped around each organisation’s roles, objectives and working environments.
AI avatars that put learners in the conversation
VRAI Learning’s avatars interact with learners in real time. Depending on the training scenario, they can play a customer, a colleague, a professional contact or a learning guide.
Learners actively shape the exchange: asking questions, responding to objections, testing an approach and adjusting their communication as the conversation develops.
These AI roleplay simulations support areas such as customer service, sales, management and language learning. They can help learners prepare before a training session, practise during a facilitated programme or continue developing their skills afterwards.
Avatar Académie: control and insight for training teams
Avatar Académie gives trainers and learning teams the tools to configure and manage their AI avatars. They define each avatar’s role, mission, personality, knowledge base and interaction scenarios.
Conversation transcripts, summaries and tracking indicators help teams review exchanges, identify difficulties and adapt their training content.
The platform supports the trainer’s judgement, providing evidence to guide debriefs and personalise further practice.
From everyday devices to immersive environments
VRAI Learning’s conversational avatars can be accessed through computers, smartphones, tablets, interactive kiosks and VR headsets.
This flexibility allows organisations to choose the right format for their audience and context: individual practice on a laptop, an interactive conversation on a kiosk or a simulation within a virtual environment.
VRAI Learning also develops bespoke VR/XR experiences for contextual learning, from exploring a professional environment to identifying hazards and practising procedures. Conversational avatars can be integrated into these environments to guide learners or take part in the scenario.
Built around people and learning
With roots in education and training, VRAI Learning develops technology to support trainers, subject matter experts and learners.
Its avatars use a deliberately stylised, semi-realistic appearance, making their digital nature clear. The aim is to provide an engaging space for practice that complements human guidance.
At Learning Technologies France 2027, the team invites L&D leaders, HR professionals, training providers and educational institutions to discuss their projects and explore how AI avatars and immersive experiences could support their learning objectives.
